Iva works as an independent contractor advising on policy to address climate change risks and sustainable finance market development for the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). In this role, she lead the ACF’s work on developing country-led investment platforms to mobilise funding at scale for climate adaptation and resilience measures. She works with climate scientists at IFPRI to assess the impact of climate change on key economic sectors for various countries in Africa. Iva is also part of a small senior team with Oxford Martin School (University of Oxford) that provides technical advice to central bank governors and finance ministers in Southern and Eastern Africa on the development of their regulatory response to climate change.

Iva has a Master of Science – MS, PPE focused in Development Economics from the Birkbeck, University of London.
