Kelly is an experienced communications and media professional with a background in journalism and over a decade of work across the media, non-profit and events sectors. She joined the African Climate Foundation in 2021.

She began her career as a journalist, which laid a strong foundation in storytelling, media production and audience engagement. Kelly later transitioned into more strategic content roles, serving as Programme Director at Clarion and later DMG, where she managed large-scale conferences and content strategies across multiple sectors. Before working in magazine publishing, Kelly led media-related initiatives at an NGO, where she deepened her experience in cross-cultural media engagement and conservation through work in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, and Peru. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science and a Diploma in Journalism.
